I was aware of the points made in the video. I buy and drink raw milk in New York State.
One of the issues not addressed is the fact that Homeland Security is interested in controlling food source “contaimination” and thus Federal Law will be the controlling factor in the future.
This will make it a federal crime to PRODUCE raw milk and ultimately it may evolve into criminal sanctions for DRINKING raw milk.
One word describes this future: FASIST.
Unfortunately, New Jersey, where I live, has outlawed raw milk. I have already petitioned my State legislators to ban this law but only time will tell if that will be accomplished. Maybe one day we will be able to get the government out of our food and our limited health choices, which seem to be getting worse and worse every year.
Excellent raw milk info. We live in a tyranny of convenience & an age of euphemism. The so-called “health care system,” is a euphemism for sickness management, control & profit, at the expense of orchestrated ignorance, human suffering & death. The white milk mostache has been plagiarized by the pasteurized milk industry from a time when milk WAS healthy, however, this milk was from grass grazed cows raised specifically FOR the provision of raw milk. Historically, raw milk dairies were certified by medical authorities as to the safety of their product for human consumption. Milk from sources intended for pasteurization, is generally NOT safe for human consumption. When people who drink pasteurized milk experience a gut ache or intestinal discomfort, they are not suffering from “lactose intolerance,” but lactase enzyme deficiency. All lactase enzymes are destroyed during pasteurization. Homogenization of milk, alters the structure of milk to such an extent, it no longer resembles what may be referred to as milk. It is what elder American statesmen John Quincy Adams refers to as, “those things which appear to be, but are not.” Simply stated, pasteurized milk is an illness inducing substance that would be better left totally out of our daily diets. Certified raw milk originating from healthy grass grazed cows, is really the only healthy source of dairy products. As for organic, it is only slightly better than conventional because is still subject to adulteration during the pasteurizing & homogenation processes. As Ron Schmid ND, author of The Untold Story of Milk reports, there was a time when Mayo Clinic prescribed a “Raw Milk Therapy” for a wide variety of illnesses including TB. This ended when certified raw milk was forced from the market place by pasteurized factory milk processing interests. These dairies operate on a false premise – that raw milk, rather than swill or blue milk produced originally by brewery dairies is the problem. Nothing could be further from the truth. Pasteurization was enacted as a COMPENSATION for the vastly inferior & sickness inducing effects of brewery dairy milk products. Today’s modern pasteurized & homogenized dairy system, is simply an extention of the original brewery dairy system. The illnesses caused by modern processed milk, are today, systemic throughout the entire nation.
As always we have been bamboozled by corporate America. Raw milk makes sense to me. These kinds of truth make one want to grow all their own food and raise their own livestock. Capitalism is destroying us slowly and painfully. People stop allowing the government to kill us stand up and fight for what is good for us. Raw milk is as good a place to start as any.

Goodbye milk fraud, hello origin tracking

A kit to test the authenticity of milk origin for use within the food and beverage industry can be used within the processing facility and has been developed by global gas analyser supplier Picarro in conjunction with US based isotopic analysis firm, IsoForensics.
Picarro explained that its new Milk Origin Verification Solution (MOVS) is based on the fact that every country has a unique stable isotope signature comprising ratios of varied oxygen, and hydrogen isotopes.
And the gas analyser supplier said that by working with researchers at Purdue University, IsoForensics has been able to map stable isotope ratios of regional food and water supplies across the US.
Alex Salkever, a spokesperson for Picarro, told FoodProductionDaily.com that the MOVS is easy to use.
He said it involves a food or beverage manufacturer using a Picarro gas analyzer to test a milk sample from a supplier and subsequently logging on to the IsoForensics isotope system to compare that sample against its established database in order to get a confidence rating on the milk’s claimed point of origin.
Limited to US
Salkever explained that the MOVS is currently only applicable to the US market as isotope hydrogen and oxygen data mapping within Europe is not at an advanced stage yet but he said Picarro and IsoForensics are confident such mapping will be completed within a two-year timeframe.
“The revolutionary aspect of the MOVS is that it is simple application, and can be conducted within a production facility itself rather than outsourcing the work to an external laboratory.
Scientific expertise is absolutely not a prerequisite in terms of using Picarro’s Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) analyzer but a training session is provided on purchase. The sample analysis is rapid and a high throughput of up to 100 samples per day can be achieved with the method,” stressed Salkever.
Fraud increasing
According to Michigan State University, five to seven per cent of the US food supply is impacted by food fraud involving the substitution of inferior products or ingredients including such cases as buffalo or sheep’s milk cheese being made from cow’s milk, or red snapper and flounder actually being catfish fillets from Vietnam.
And, industry is hoping that methods based on DNA and isotope ratio analysis will make food fraud much easier to detect.
Other food applications
MOVS will be the first in a planned range of IsoForensics food origin verification applications to be developed for use in conjunction with Picarro’s analyzer, said Salkever.
“We are planning to have similar applications for products such as spinach, and other fresh produce produce including tomatoes and orange juice, as well as beer and wine in the near future,” he added.
Carbon ratio
Meanwhile, scientists based in Germany recently developed a new test to detect conventional milk sold as organic, in a bid to help combat dairy fraud at the retail level.
The organic market in Germany has been growing rapidly in recent years – by as much as 34 per cent between 2006 and 2007, to reach 11 per cent of all fresh drinking milk. This popularity, coupled with shortages brought about by high demand, mean there is a risk of fraudulent labelling, according to Joachim Molkentin of the Federal Institute of Nutrition and Food in Germany.
To combat this, Molkentin developed a test for certain components in milk that would be drastically different in organic and conventional milk – such as the carbon stable isotope ratio, levels of alpha-linoleic acid (C18:3ω3), and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA).
Using isotope ratio mass spectrometry, Molkentin was able to establish threshold levels of carbon stable isotope ratio between the organic and conventional milks, of below a maximum of -26.5 per cent.
Molkentin also looked at the milk samples’ fatty acid content using gas chromatography and he set a threshold level for C18:3ω3 at above 0.50 per cent for organic milk.
It is best to avoid cow’s milk altogether because it contains an enzyme essential to baby cows but people are not able to beak it down. Goat’s milk contains this enzyme also but I am told it is less concentrated and therefore better for you than Cow’s milk.

Since raw milk is illegal to sell here in Colorado (although raw milk cheese is legal to sell if it is aged over 60 days), we have a cow-share program which allows us to pick up raw milk as a benefit of taking care of the cow. I’ve been a consumer of raw milk for nearlt three years now and I don’t get sick like I see many around me do whenever ‘the crud’ comes around. Any connection? Can’t say for sure, but I follow the old garbage-in-garbage-out tenet and have stayed healthy because of it. That goes for television as well. It has become increasingly obvious that the health of the populace is being directly threatened by the FDA and the pharmaceutical industry by destroying our immune systems. We quit using Wole Milk years ago, We went to 2%, Then this past Jan. when we were in Fl. A Good friend of mine told us about Rice Milk which is the most Healthy Milk you can drink. I agree with Tom. We all should educate ourselves and take responsibility for our health. STOP letting others do it for you. We have all become lazy. We are not like the generations before us. I tell people start to grown your own, learn to garden and make sure you use no modified seeds. I sometimes hear people say they do not have enough time. My response to that is, because you don’t make time to help yourself and family by taking charge of your health you will pay in the long run. Your health care cost will be great. The food now has little vitamins and nutrients these bodies need to fight off bacteria and fungus. Fungus is the largest cause of many diseases today. Even cancer, next to the cancer you will find the fungus which gives life to the cancer. Kill the fungus the cancer will have a hard time surviving. There is an oncologist in Europe that is doing studies and has found this to be true. So, please do your self a favor and your family and make time to grow your own, while doing this make it family time. Spend time with your family while growing your own food. Get your face away from the TV. Your family will thrive while others suffer.
Think about this: Humans are the only mammals that drink milk as adults.
None of this surprises me in the least. Most government controls are not productive and are heavily biased with lobby pressure and ultimate control. Our government is the best money can buy the health of the citizenry be damned. No doubt natural bacteria and enzymes were intended to be ingested and would support and enhance our own immunity system. I believe it should be the choice of the customer if they want to purchase dairy products that have no additives and are willing to accept the shorter shelf life after their purchase.
60 years ago on the farm, where I was raised, Mom and Dad bred livestock to feed us and the community. Dad swore by having raw milk every day. I don’t think he ever made the connection to understand the pasteurization dilemna and its threat to mankind. Today the farm has been condemned by the state to construct a “public” facility.
My wife, on the other hand, has never had a glass of raw milk. She’s had “dead” milk her entire 60 sixty years of living. Never having a truely good experience, today she claims she’s lactose intolerant and can’t stand the sight of milk.
The information provided by Mark McAfee is invaluable. People tend to jump onto a “bandwagon” approach to “solving” all the concerns of mankind rather than to put the effort into understanding the natural balance in the world. May God speed Mark’s delivery of this wisdom!
I was raised on mostly raw cows milk from open range dairy farms in Maine. I have never suffered any illness of any sort related to the use of raw Cows milk. I am 63 years old.
I raised my seven children on mostly raw cow’s milk and raw goats milk from open grazing dairy farms in Maine and New Hampshire. None of my seven children have ever sufferred any form of illness or disease related to the use of that raw milk. They all have strong bones, good teeth and are generally well today, and have never had any disease like TB or any other sickness related to raw milk. We have also used pasturized and homogenized milk when we have been unable to obtain raw milk, and have noticed no ill effects from that milk either. But for taste and now for nutritional reasons we will choose raw milk whenever we have a choice.

The speaker is energetic although he speaks a bit too quickly. Do the video’s show the projected screens? I am wondering if raw milk would allow me to drink milk again being that I have ‘become’ lactose intolerant? Presently I use 2% with acidophilus and am able to stomach it. Yes there is government involvement in all things and when that happens good luck changing anything. The swing is in the media that is tightly controlled these days!
if you are going to drink milk then raw milk is definitely the way to go but personally i think drinking bodily fluids from an animal is pretty gross

I’ve been getting unpasteurized Milk, Unpasteurized Cream, Unpasteurized Yoghurt, I get extra Cream & make my own Butter out of it. I started doing this because I read a book called “Cure Tooth Decay” by Rami Nagel & he advocates the use of Unpasteurized Milk (& it’s products). He also draws heavily from Dr. Weston Price (it was nice to hear Mark McAfee also mention Dr. Price). Very informative, I hope this information becomes more widespread and that people start to wake up to what’s happening in our food industry! Also drinking distilled water is good for you, and getting 5000 units of Vitamin D each day is very helpful to your immune system.
Its time we all showed DEFIANCE! Just stop buying the garbage that the fda wants to sell us, and stop using prescription drugs. If we stop spending our money on these things they will fade away and die. We need to do this in large numbers of people standing together in a unified purpose. I can’t believe I have never heard about raw milk in this way before. Wow. Increasingly I have been embracing bacteria as we are made of these wonderful little buggers and as noted in the presentation they provide most of our immune system. Come to think of it I can very much believe I didn’t know this information in lieu of the disgusting greedy corporate hands hell-bent on profit over public health and safety. My girlfriend almost died from a MRSA infection and throughout the entire ordeal no doctor ever mentioned helping build up her “good” bacteria to support her defenses. I have severe doubts about this because a man who purchased raw milk recently at a local niche grocery outlet got critically ill and is now on life support at a local hospital.

i used to raise milking cows and goats. actually the goat milk is better for your digestion. but we boiled the milk to allow the curd in the milk to get harder as this helped in calf scours. calves are always running at the rear end because of lack of proper bacteria they don’t have the strength of system that a human has. People should eat very little cooked food.except for meats. animal fats are good for your system its the man made fats and triglicerides that kill you. I wont drink pasturized milk.

I thought the video was very Informative. I was not sure about raw milk before this video. I have heard on one hand it was good for you and on the other you could get sick since it wasn’t pasteurized. I currently drink Organic milk. Thanks for video link I will be trying Organic raw milk.
I had heard bits & pieces about the raw Milk issue but not enough to put the pieces together. Thanks for the video, now I get the picture! I’m going to Whole Foods this weekend and see if they still sell raw milk here in Nashville,TN. Hope my stomach will be able to handle it too if I do. We’ve been drinking 2% forever. Just now focusing on everything I put in and on my body and if it’s not natural it’s ‘outa here’!

The video was informative, but much more time could have been spent discussing the matter for a much more thorough understanding. But, you only have so much time. I only drink one quart per week of locally produced milk with NO BGH added, and NO KOSHER TAX. I could get whole milk, but I do not because of the travel involved, and, if conditions of inspection were adequately met, to my satisfaction, right at the dairy I would not hesitate to drink whole milk. Again, the video was informative.

I have known this about milk for some time. Louis Pasteur was the first one to discover the process of pasteurization in the early 1900’s.He was later was demonized by a guy named as Gerald Geison in 1995 from the New York Times claiming that Pasteur had lied about his research on vaccines and germs and that most of his ideas had been plagiarized from his contemporaries.
The French even erected statues and built an institute dedicated to the highly revered Pasture of modern medicine.
The question is, Why would anyone want to slander such a great man especially after all the proof has been there for all to see? The answer is as usual, “Follow the money”!

Have I been asleep for the past 68 years? Is our government suddenly concerned about what is best for us? I’ve been getting my raw milk legally from a farmer neighbor. He’s been targeted by the state EPA because of his opposition to the proposed mega-dairy CAFO on the other side of the road, which is already polluting his stream with leachate from GMO corn silage. He & I & several others are in a lawsuit trying to prevent this mega-dairy with 43 acres of open manure pits from being built a mile from town, and on top of a creek. This kind of invasion by the dairy monopolies is going on all over the country. We need allies in the cities to help us fight this, so you can have decent food again.
Anything promoted by the main/lamestream media, the medical mafia, BigPharm, our government, USDA, FDA, CDC, BigFood and public health is highly suspect and usually detrimental to human health and the health of any living organism. The big corporations run this country and the politicians, from president down (with few exceptions) sold out the American people long ago.

Just be real careful about raw milk. Anything the cow eats will go out in the milk & be stored in the fat of the animal. Be sure that the suppliers do not use medications on that animal or you will be drinking it! IVOMEC if I am correct takes +/- 3 to 6 months to filter out of an animal. We give our beef and milk cows today vitamins, minerals, clean water, grass, a very small amount of grain, and sunshine and that is it. Healthy, happy cows we have they way God intended!
I was rasied hand milking 2 cows from age 9 to 21 and drank raw milk my entire life no problems. If I drink “store” bought milk un-natural things happen to my system something to do with plasticizers and othe chemicals to add shelf life that they add to the milk.
Here in Arkansas a group tried to pass a state law allowing the sale of 100 gallons a month to farmers & dairies. At the committee hearing the state brought in a guy from the State Health Dept. (also was on the pasturization board, conflict of interest) and he brought a vet as an expert witness. When someone asked her, the vet, what the difference was between goat milk, (which is legal in AR to sell), and cows milk. She had no idea! Some expert and does not say much about her vet ability or her ability to get ready for a hearing. It passed the house and was eventually killed in the senate. We will have to try again in 2011.
The people of this country had better WAKE UP! and I dont mean maybe. Cow milk is meant for its offspring calves. This is not a necessary food for the highly evolved human animal. If fact regular use will lead one to a lower animal like conscious thought development. Well now, theres a thing.America, where much of the seed corn was sown, is now seeing bits of the future harvest. Please forgive me. But in the very recent passed, I, among many, looked to the America we knew, to place a seal, the concept upon the honesty of the object offered in exchange. I would never think of questioning an American OK. on any health or medical provenance of any sort, especially husbandry and common sense. But now?
Northern China is now almost a desert. The Eastern coast of South America, Brasil to Argentinian, very much the same. The Western Coast of Africa, from Cape Town in the South to North, beyond Nigeraia. Due to the soya bean production and the poison needed to cover the herbiside, fungicide and other poisons sprayed at randon on the land.
Some four or five years age, I wrote to Norman Tebbit about this subject. I did point out that we would end up in this situation, if we allowed the worst on offer to be allowed to prosper as the Government insists. Never mind, the worst has happened. Now it is down to you, you, the plebs; to return the Country to the top of the pile. The top of the pile by the way, is nothing more than the Crowning the top of the Farm Yard Manure Heap. The heap is made of faild MPs and criminals. Plus that multitude of nonsense that voted for, None of the Others. Whatever, it is NOT legally possible for any Governemt to impose Direct Taxation. I must put these last few pieces in words of conviction, instead of of platitudes, so much of Westminster is obvious, it makes the job of the Media just a walk on part, even Tommy Cooper would make Cameron and Cleg look intelligent.
