I grew up on raw milk in Duncan, B.C., Canada on Vancouver Island in the 50’s and 60’s. It was very delicious and in the winter the cream on top, in the old fashioned narrow neck glass milk bottles, rose about 1/4″ to 3/8″ and lifted the circular cardboard milk bottle cap up in freezing winter weather. A friend of mine in Burnaby, B.C., Canada gets his raw milk from a dairy farm in the Fraser Valley. Every bottle has to have a small sticker on it that reads “Not For Human Consumption”! It also is very delicious and nutritious. I now live in Snohomish, WA and will serch out another raw milk source once my wife & I return to Duncan, B.C. as I cannot find enough work here to viably afford to stay in business.
